December 14th 2007 – Grandmaster Steiner & Master Fruitstone
Nearly 100 Students were assessed during a 3 hour Grading Examination. This was followed by the annual awards where 12 Students were presented with Glass Trophies by the Grandmaster himself. We then had the privilege of a 4 Hour Seminar, practising Fundamental Exercises, Turning, Lines and Directions. All of us had the pleasure increasing our Knowledge. The following day, the Black Belts were honoured to train with Master Cook at a Historic Meeting near Newcastle. The origins of TaeKwon-Do Patterns and Techniques were explained and we practised several devastating applications of what we all thought were Basic Techniques. We were all awed by Master Cook’s comprehensive library which included a copy of the original 1960’s version of the TaeKwon-Do encyclopedia – A Rare Opportunity to experience our History and Origins.
